Coinbase mobile crypto wallet users can now receive automatic alerts for blockchain activities through the Notifi messaging service.
According to reports, sustainable trading exchange GMX is the first customer of this service. Customers using the platform will receive notifications for upcoming settlements, management updates, and can create custom alerts based on arbitration and avalanche.
“If you’re not constantly monitoring what’s happening on the chain, you’re not going to keep up with the new changes,” said Notifi CEO Paul Kim in an interview.

This service expands Coinbase’s message delivery functionality built on the XMTP protocol, which has allowed wallet users to send messages since July of last year. Notifi also uses the XMTP protocol for notifications.
