Watford Football Club, a British football club, is offering investors and fans the opportunity to acquire 10% of the team’s shares through the European branch of the investment platform Republic, Seedrs.
The club, with a history of 150 years, announced that a portion of its shares (10%) will be available for digital purchase. According to the club, Republic platform will facilitate the sale of stocks, and investors participating in these stock sales will receive special rights and tokens.
Watford plans to raise approximately £175,000 through this stock issuance, with a price per share of around £12.
