US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller announced a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the capture of the ‘Crypto Queen’, Ruzha Ignatova. This is a new development in the ongoing saga of Ignatova, the mastermind behind the massive crypto scam, OneCoin. Yesterday’s report by the Sofia Globe stated that Bulgaria has issued an absence charge against Ignatova and confiscated her illegally acquired property.

In October 2022, Ignatova was listed on the FBI’s ‘Top Ten Most Wanted’ list and a $50,000 reward was offered for information leading to her arrest, also appearing on the European Arrest Warrant’s similar list. Despite rumors of it being a pyramid scheme, it continued to draw investors until the market suddenly shut down in early 2017, leaving investors’ tokens worthless, resulting in losses amounting to nearly $400 million.

There are theories that Ignatova might have been murdered or underwent a complete makeover through plastic surgery.

Once very popular, Bulgarian-born Ignatova filled arenas like the Wembley Stadium in London in 2016 with thousands of people. She went missing in 2017 and remains unaccounted for to this day.
