Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse recently made a public statement in response to a California judge dismissing a class action lawsuit related to XRP. He emphasized that all claims in the class action were dismissed and reiterated that this decision will not change the previous ruling by the New York court that XRP is not a security.

Several news outlets misreported the XRP class action decision. This is a significant victory as it resulted in all damages claims raised in the class action being dismissed, and the ruling did not change the fact that XRP is not a security.
According to him, one plaintiff did not directly purchase tokens from Ripple and cannot explain whether he saw relevant statements at the time of purchase. He criticized those behind the lawsuit as opportunists looking to profit from the litigation.
