Circle’s CEO stated that the future of cryptocurrencies is more promising than ever before. Garlinghouse stated, “As soon as information about XRP becomes available, it is accessible to users. Several news outlets have reported incorrectly on the decision regarding the collective lawsuit against XRP. This is a significant victory as it has resulted in the dismissal of all claims for compensation made in collective lawsuits, and the ruling does not change the fact that XRP is not a security.”
According to him, the plaintiff in question did not purchase their tokens directly from Ripple and cannot say whether they saw the relevant statements at the time of purchase or not. He criticized those behind the lawsuit as opportunists seeking profits from their legal actions.
