Today, a German government wallet marked as “German Government (BKA)” transferred a relatively small amount of Bitcoin (BTC) to three cryptocurrency exchanges. The first transaction consisted of sending 100 BTC to the US cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, followed by another 150 BTC to Bitstamp. Shortly after, the wallet transferred 32.74 BTC to Kraken, bringing the total transaction amount at the relevant cryptocurrency exchanges to approximately $176,000.

Bitcoin miners began shifting to other cryptocurrencies. They were taken out of the wallet yesterday to initiate more transfers to the same cryptocurrency exchange, amounting to 400 BTC ($253,000). After these latest transfers, the wallet still holds 43,859 BTC, with a total value of $274.5 million.
