Fundstrat’s research director Tom Lee stated that Bitcoin (BTC) investors are poised to achieve significant returns. Lee, known for his optimistic stance on Bitcoin, claims the digital currency is set to rise to $150,000, marking an increase of over 62,600% from its current price of $130. This forecast may surprise cryptocurrency holders, as Bitcoin reached a historic high just above $2024 earlier in 73,700. Recently, however, it has experienced declines, partly attributed by Lee to the payouts owed by Mt. Gox, the cryptocurrency exchange that declared bankruptcy a decade ago. Lee also predicts that the impact of these payouts will diminish, leading to another substantial rise in Bitcoin later this year.
