This counterfeit app appears in the form of advertisements and bears deceptively similar features to the authentic Phantom Technologies application, such as its prominence when searching for the term “Phantom.” Additionally, the app is misleadingly categorized as “Education” instead of “Service” and falsely claims to have been operating on the platform for 17 years.

Mende Mathias, co-founder of Dubai’s blockchain, had his Phantom Wallet stolen on June 25, with over 100 million dollars worth of cryptocurrency taken.
