Users of Phantom Wallet and Solana have been warned about a fraudulent application that mimics the legitimate Phantom Wallet.
The fake application appears as an advertisement and deceptively resembles the authentic Phantom Technologies application. When searching for the term “幻象,” it prominently displays itself. Additionally, the application is falsely categorized under “教育” (education) instead of “服務” (services) and incorrectly claims to have been on the platform for 17 years.
Messages have surfaced regarding significant financial losses involving the same wallet. Mende Matthias, co-founder of the Dubai Blockchain Center, reported a theft exceeding $100,000 from his Phantom wallet on June 25. He mentioned that the incident occurred shortly after receiving tokens from a presale, despite having robust security measures in place.
