The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced in an official statement that a portion of Ethereum ETF spot will begin trading on July 23rd.
This development is a significant milestone for the cryptocurrency space as it will be the first approved spot altcoin ETF, following the earlier approval of a Bitcoin ETF by the SEC at the beginning of the year.

At the time of writing, ETH is trading at a price of $3,500 after a 2.4% increase in price over the last 24 hours.

They said:
“We are pleased to announce that 1 exchange-traded product (ETP) will be listed on Cboe and will commence trading… on July 23, 2024.”
In another update from the Cboe website, it can be seen that the exchange plans to list a total of 5 Ethereum spot ETFs:
According to the information, these products are from 21Shares, Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, Invesco, and VanEck.
